Another aporistic query!

Less than 0.005% of UK taxpayers are billionaires. They are rare even in the top 1%. The challenge is to find a fraction they will accept paying and that will work for the other 99.995% too.

£20,000,000 pa, per billion is pretty definitely paying their way in my mind.

Running the UK costs us (the government) about £1.3 billion pa or about £20,000 per person, all in.

So everyone (man, woman and child) needs to generate £20k for their share of the state. For each that doesn't, someone has to make it up or debt grows.
