The normalization of corruption is not surprising but it is truly disgusting. institutions charged with holding public servants to account must do their jobs. The ends do not justify the means. Violating the public trust should receive very severe penalties. We must do better.

Public broadcasting is just about the only place one can go now for varied, in depth stories and analysis that doesn’t involve talking heads yelling at each other. And it’s far more than politics. There are many stories of general interest that you’ll hear nowhere else. Would be a terrible blow.
