  1. Peoples' right to live comfortably and happily should never have been made into a political issue in the first place.

If your political beliefs involve stripping the rights away from minority groups, then yes, we are going to have a major problem. My right to exist is not up for debate.

  2. They know. This idea that conservatives just don’t know how evil they are is played out. They all know, they just love the cruelty more than their country, more than their own children. Not everyone can or will evolve. As is evidenced by America’s “government”.

  3. The magas in my life don’t seem to understand that it’s beyond politics. It’s what’s moral and what’s immoral at this point. Hating the same people they hate is not just wrong, it’s immoral. I am limiting my time with them. It’s sad and it’s lonely, but it’s necessary. I’m sorry for your pain.

  4. Brother, when you describe it that way it only makes them happier. They are morally bankrupt.

  5. Yep, there is no place in my life — nor in America, nor in human civilization frankly — for anyone who supports Trump & the policies of the Republican Party.

It’s Nazism, it’s crimes against humanity, it’s a depraved evil assault on civilization itself. And there’s no place in this world for Nazis.

  6. I'm convinced they want certain folks dead. I mean it, when folks say they want to spend less, want more law and order, or austerity, they're liars. They want to get rid of all the inconveniences perceived and these folks anyone not CIS-white, rich, male, as inconveniences. it's f'ing scary.

  7. Quite a lot of these people are perfectly happy voting for people that would prevent them from doing those things, never mind you. Don't underestimate their stupidity.

  9. They don’t care. And won’t care, until it affects them personally. I.E. Nancy Reagan.

What a sad state we’re in.

Wouldn’t living wages and healthcare make this country great? 🤔🤦‍♂️

  10. There’s no being friends with someone who voted a rapist into the office of presidency. Period. The end. Done. No going back. No discussion, tears, screeching, etc. THE FRIENDSHIP IS OVER.

  11. Absolutely. Many of the "just politics" issues that the Rs are taking on are life or death to someone. Calls for civil discourse in the face of these assaults are admissions of inattention, complicity, or cowardice.

  12. My life mirrors Jonathan's but I'm a senior and I'm homeless.

I welcome meaningful friendships. I would also welcome affordable housing, healthcare and food.

I was suppose to be dead by age 27 and I'm now 66 thanks to advancements in medicine. Meds=life.

I have to remain hopeful and thankful. ♥️
