Deeply recommend getting absolutely brainrotted about a pairing/oc/concept that no one else is making food for so you have to cook for yourself. Not only is making what you want to see deeply rewarding, you will improve and it will not even be on purpose it will just be the inevitable byproduct.
Once again I will always recommend getting totally obsessed with something you want to see more of as motivation for getting good at creative stuff.

I've been looking at futuristic cityscapes from Akira and Syd Mead this week and seeing this neat trick where they draw somewhat realistic foreground buildings up to a point,
Then draw incomprehensibly gigantic structures behind them to push it over the top

I feel pity for that people, they will never feel the true joy of creation, of being proud of that art that exists bc you dedicated thought, time and effort, every failure, every correction, every try again, makes it worth it, one of the best feelings in life!
