After this process, there needs to be a serious discussion about Section 107, how the government has been using it, and how prominent companies have come to expect workers to be forced back to work, robbing them of their leverage — as Air Canada’s CEO openly admitted. It can’t continue.

Earthquakes Canada says a 3.6 Magnitude earthquake Monday night was lightly felt on southern Vancouver Island. The quake happened at 7:17 p.m., about 18 kilometres southeast of Port Renfrew, at a depth of 35 kilometres. Early notifications of the earthquake had it measured at 4.1 magnitude. There are no reports of damage, and officials say none would be expected.
