there's definitely worse in america, let alone the world, but this is not a place to live in peacefully. it's pretty much just a retirement home for the worst person you know.

the rural deep south is up there as one of the most soul crushing places to live in in america. you don't know your neighbor, and your neighbor probably hates you and makes sure you know that. its a 2 hour walk both ways to the closest semblance of civilization. i hate being stuck here

Turns out Bluesky does have an algorithm but it just sends your joke to the person least likely to get it and most likely to get real mad about not getting it
