On Aug 29, 2007, Union Pacific rail workers lost control of a tanker car filled with chlorine at Arden, NV. The rail car sped about 20 miles through town at speeds up to 40 mph before the track started uphill. Amazingly, no damage and no spill. tinyurl.com/murs5fkw

JD Vance on Donald Trump: “I’m a Never Trump guy. I never liked him. I don’t think he’s the person. I don’t think he cares about folks. I think that he’s noxious and is leading the white working class to a very dark place.”

Hmmmm.
I am googling comments Cuban has made recently on Trump and his various policies.
You may be right. I stand corrected.
-
Trump doesn’t want a “deal”. He wants domination.
A handful of businessmen, like Mark Cuban and JB Pritzker, are able to see past their narrow world of experience and grasp that fact.
Polis, as of now, is numbered among the far vaster number who simply don’t.
He’s going to have to, in a hurry.
-
Convincing Polis of that will be a challenge.
Polis’ background as an entrepreneur—so long an asset for him and a weapon that has helped Democrats dominate Colorado—has turned into a liability.
Like so many businessmen and “negotiators”, he imagines Trump is simply out to make a “deal”.
-
That’s been obvious watching Polis mouth, through dead eyes, his “support” for RFK Jr. and his “common ground” with “Make America Healthy Again”.
He imagines, desperately, that being seen by Trump as a “reasonable man”, he can ward off catastrophe.
The opposite is true. Trump smells weakness.
