I’m sure that the whole cliche about everyone being able to notice when you create something that’s made to appeal to trends or to a market or what you think will sell or be liked by everyone rings true, and it would leave nobody happy in the long run. 2/2
I guess the ideal would be to write what you want to write and feel passionate about writing, and bring all your personality and “weird” and “cringe” into it, but also write the one thing you wish was out there currently or the one thing you wish was around when you were a child?! 1/2
