Trans people are worth protecting. Not because we are amazing people (although we are) or because we offer a great deal to society (although we do) or because we are fine as hell (we are). We are worth protecting because we are HUMAN BEINGS, and it’s amazing how often that simple fact is forgotten.
Anti-trans legislation really is just a net negative for everyone. People think it's not impacting their freedoms because they feel like they'll always be cis, but it's irrelevant because taking away a choice is still a limit on freedom even if it's one don't intend to make

Trans people do not "choose" to be trans. Most of the time, they just didn't have the words to understand what they were feeling.
