Trans people are worth protecting. Not because we are amazing people (although we are) or because we offer a great deal to society (although we do) or because we are fine as hell (we are). We are worth protecting because we are HUMAN BEINGS, and it’s amazing how often that simple fact is forgotten.

Anti-trans legislation really is just a net negative for everyone. People think it's not impacting their freedoms because they feel like they'll always be cis, but it's irrelevant because taking away a choice is still a limit on freedom even if it's one don't intend to make

I'd also say that in some cases the fact is not only 'forgotten' it is sometimes outright 'ignored' or even 'denied' by some.

Strange how it is the people who claim that trans people are assaulting women and girls in bathrooms are in fact the ones who are sexually assaulting women and girls in bathrooms. Seems like it is just an excuse to commit sexual assault.
