I see it more as an exaggerated call to just simply not give up. And if one is worried about creating/posting the weird things, now is more a time than ever to get the courage to do that. But breaks are 100% still important too.
I see a lot of posts about how you need to create and draw and compose now more than ever, how the world needs you to stay creative for humanity's sake.
Don't burn yourself out. It's ok to not be creative for a bit. It's ok to take breaks.
A break now does not mean you will never create again. :)
This thread is full of solid takes but THIS - this is something that I haven't heard anyone say before, and yet it's such a vital truth - your art, your writing, your creation is your personal reflection/ interaction/input on the world- a reflection of you - AI robs you of that chance💔
Art is about YOU. Your struggles, your joy. Giving a prompt will give you a bunch of strangers' perspective mashed up into one. Not your own take on your own view on life. It's the Internet's take on your life which should be yours and yours alone. Hunt those words down. Those colors and shapes.
