He has a pathology to live up to the hero myth of his dead father because he feels very inadequate. It’s quite Shakespearean- his appointment to the HHS (without him having any qualifications) fulfills his need to live up to his dad’s legacy. He found admiration among anti-vaxx nuts, at our expense.
