This week I dug deep into the Paradox of Tolerance.
We might hope still to build a new house to replace the one abusive bullies are burning down, after centuries of decades of being enabled in the name of civility.
If we do, the new house will need new locks.

"Post" traumatic stress implies the traumatic stress is over. That's not the daily experience of many survivors, who experience new traumatic stress every day-- either from the outside, and/or simply the traumatic stress of coping w/ trauma responses & memories.
