Sometimes, I think people need reminding that 'No ethical consumption under capitalism' is a critique of capitalism, not ethics.
And also that it doesn't mean 'fuck it, don't bother with any ethics at all' just because perfection is impossible

Yeah. I think the sentiment is similar to "don't let perfect be the enemy of good". If you're ending up thinking that you shouldn't bother with good or ethics because perfection is impossible, you're betraying both sayings at a very obviously fundamental level.
