Bezos is not looking for a “market” in order to sell to make money. He is looking to propagandize for his business and tax interests. That is how he profits.

Their perspective that minorities are 3/5th of a person? Should we compromise on 4/5th? Or should we compromise just discriminate against Asians but not Hispanics? There is not compromise with racism or fascism.

Every time the press attacked Warren for 1% on assets over $50 million I couldn’t believe not a single note of the home asset tax. Drives me crazy. Either you are for an asset tax or not and for it being progressive or regressive like it is now.
-
Will you support an asset tax on billionaires like every homeowner in America pays on a home (even with negative equity)??
-
Great. So you surely will support a 1% tax on unrealized assets of billionaires since every homeowner in America pays at least that on their house even if it has negative equity and they have low income, right?
-
What company doesn’t benefit from billions of dollars of government policy? Do any of your businesses use roads, courts, call the police, hire public school educated people and on and on? My house is taxed on unrealized gains every year to pay for much of that. Yet your billions of assets are not.
-
Biden wanted 1% on assets over $50 million but you are just fine with the exact same tax on unrealized gains on homeowners regardless of their net worth. Billionaire hypocrisy.
-
Just charge the same asset tax every single homeowner pays in America. Heck if you want to be conservative about it you can even limit it to 1% of assets over $50 million like Warren wanted.
-
Why that limitation. Unrealized gain on my house is taxed every year whether or not I use it as equity for a loan.
-
Bingo. Yet it is somehow radical for Warren to propose 1% on assets over $50 million.
