I read something on here a while back that was like "the religious right sees children as punching bags & sex objects" and yes, yes they do.
if you're wondering how the government could possibly have become so cruel, you should be aware that where they got it from is the religious right culture where you're property of your parents until age 18, which is fully enabled by our society's laws and rules. it's a dehumanizing system of abuse.
My coworker and I were bonding over our love of the cult classic Drop Dead Gorgeous. One of my favorite movies of all time. Amazing cast and just hilarious. Allison Janney as Loretta is probably her best role ever.

They didn't attempt a violent coup because of the left. They aren't destroying US science & academia because of the left. They're not embracing open racism & nazi ideology because of the left.
They are adults, making choices, doing things of their own volition, and they bear the responsibility.
And this is why I have nothing but contempt for Trump voters. I don't care what their reasons were. I refuse to be nice and it still gets me in trouble.
