Die Erzählung vom Faschismus als Notwehr-Reaktion auf eine drohende Machtübernahme von links ist übrigens das Selbstbild des Faschismus selbst. Er wehrt sich ja nur gegen die jüdisch-bolschewistische Verschwörung und hat es mit übermächtigen Gegnern zu tun. In der Notwehr ist alles erlaubt.

A veteran’s perspective: they have not yet been issued unlawful orders. So they must go where ordered.
Also, they don’t enjoy all the benefits of the constitution (like full 1st Amendment rights). There is a large number of them who don’t want this but are very limited in what they can say.
Dear active military & vets: is THIS what our fathers & grandfathers died for? Is this why you enlisted? Should our brave men & women in uniform be on US soil, used for intimidation purposes by a tyrant? Please ask yourself these critical Q’s bc this is not normal for America

Ask and you shall receive. I was sent a polling/strategy memo that is being circulated in DC. It offers advice to Dems on Trump sending the National Guard to DC. "Distract" is used 10 times. "Stunt" four. I'll try to post it later, but I assume others have it as well.
