The absolute irony of saying political violence is never the answer on the eve of 9/11 even after decades of politically motivated violence under the guise of fighting a “global war on terrorism” while living in country built on political violence that’s done more violent regime change than anyone.

Oh weird the image of fascist crackdowns on protest has left a stain the regime can't fully scrub away!
They erased the new Banksy mural in London. But the stain remains.

It’s so cool to see all the little changes they’ve made to Hadestown since I saw it (before it went to Broadway). It’s only made the show even better, especially the small moments between Eurydice and Persephone (who were particularly great in this cast)

Saw it back when it was in London in 2018 (iirc) before it went big on Broadway. Have listened to both soundtracks for years, know it inside and out. Still cried. Twice 😂

From England and heard it used pejoratively growing up. I’m not sure how genuinely offensive it’s considered anymore but I figure it’s not my place to say. Especially as someone who’s a descendant of other groups colonised by the English, I’m not gonna fuck w/ that and would defer to Irish people

The lead boat in the Sumud Flotilla appears to have been struck from above while in Tunis. Not alone that but the claim that "the fire originated on the ship" is propagating across the media.
This is an international civilian aid flotilla. The levels of mistruth and abuse are staggering.

'Footage from another boat of our Flotilla shows the exact moment the Family Boat was struck from above.'
