Next time we meet let's do it!

Finally we played Syzygy. A very elegant set collection drafting game. Everyone picks a card from their hand at the same time & passes the hand. Try to match the cards you play as closely to the scoring hand. Tension of making sure you can hit the scoring threshold & others don't take your cards.
-
Then we played Cold Comfort - a game about building hotels during the gold rush. Players build hotels in neighborhoods and compete to attract miners and collect money. A lot of cool mechanics with different special miners and high play variability with different evolving layouts.
-
Next we played a game called No More Bets that simulates Roulette. Similar to Ready Set Bet it has this delicious tension of waiting for better odds or betting earlier to get the wager you want. Deck has a card for each spot. As the deck is drawn, spots are eliminated.

Thread: I also got to playtest a few games at Dragonflight.
First off is my son's game: Lampshade
Real time trading game where you try to form sets and cash them in as quickly possible. Similar to Pit but with incremental scoring instead of winning. It gets chaotic and frantic in a good way.

Gotta spread the word! Lots of great designs and great games that you can only get at this event!

Duel for Cardia
2p game where you select a card to play simultaneously. Higher # wins a point but lower # applies a special effect. The effects are clever & powerful so winning isn't always good. Lot of cool effects that allow for clever plays.

Treasure of the Dwarves
Collect gems & coins. Most of a gem color wins points. Auction off cards that score points and inspect each person's secret offer one at a time without going back.
Very cool mechanic. The flow of very limited resources made the scoring lackluster for me, though.

Bone to Pick
Competitive game where you have to work together to defeat waves of zombies. Select a card to play and reveal simultaneously. If you deal most damage you win the zombie as a trophy. If village is overrun, the player who held back becomes the scapegoat.
