FFS they never stopped saying it! The kept saying it at rallies and appearances until the election! What stopped happening is that the MSM stopped mentioning it b/c it wasn’t new - and more importantly - the RW noise machine wasn’t responding to it anymore.
Feels like a consultant came up with a hypothetical: “look, governor, if you add up conservative Dems who voted for Trump, plus ppl who are scared of Muslims, and GOP voters, you can win a four-way race with 31% of the total vote!”
