I would love to know what Sarah Pochin MP thinks should be done here. Does she want a government body to set a quota for the number of black people in TV ads and then, what, have the government pick and choose which companies get to hire a black actor?

I think she may, just may, also be slightly misguided in her assumption that it's the role of advertising companies to determine "how our country is portrayed on screen". They are there to sell stuff. Conversely, Pochin on screen portrays our country as ignorant, insecure and racist.
