I’ve seen basically zero effort to explain why all of this concerted, intensely focused repressive action has been necessary. Important people will defend individual bits of it but nobody will explain why a full-court press has been required to enforce discipline in this one singular instance.
A cause so just we must sack TV presenters, ruthlessly police journalists, politicians and universities, ban entire social media platforms and restrict content, jail protestors as terrorists, destroy the humanitarian aid agencies and replace them with mercenaries then dismantle the United Nations
