One of the reasons I've accepted that STV is the best system for English local government is that under FPTP in the south you can have one of local councils which reflect the real extent of urban areas and their hinterlands and local councils which Labour can control.

In this case it just means cities bad. The fact that half the population of the New Forest lives just across the river from Southampton and is functionally part of the city osan inconvenient detail.
