"he's not any worse then Trump" seems like a bad argument for a candidate who, I'm lieu of a political program, is running on being a better, more moral person, than Trump.

Nobody is doing to want to vote in the general for someone who runs entirely on having the moral high ground if they don't actually have it. If he had a compelling agenda there might be some point to this argument but even as governor, his entire platform is republican bullshit

"this person is a dogshit candidate who everyone hates but party insiders are pushing them so we have to line up behind them" is what got us here. General election voters don't like the shitty clowns you guys push.
