I think it's clear that you and I won't agree on this, so I'm just going to close with the fact that I've seen plenty of discrimination against franchise owners perceived as foreign over the years and this reads like more of the same why is why I called it out. I've no desire to fight w/you over it.

If you assume "foreign corporate entity" is RBI, then the statement is wrong because RBI isn't opening the store. It's a convoluted explanation.
Saying that a Black woman can't be bigoted against an Asian man because she's Black is wild.

Claiming that she was talking about a franchisor that most wouldn't know about is the disingenuous claim. I'm sorry, but that sounds like an after-the-fact explanation that someone tries to make after they say something they shouldn't.
Doubly so with her conflict of interest in wanting the space.
