I originally made this point with regard to the gutting of FEMA.
But it applies to militarizing LA & DC, and ICE deportations as well.
Deploying the fed govt as a punitive instrument targeting "disloyal" states, in ways that are an affront to decency, can ultimately only elicit a response of exit.
