im sure it'll be better in the long run. i waited way too long to switch to duckduckgo as a browser and it's been wonderful so far.
There's also kagi, which is a paid search engine, but they also have a browser like DDG. Feels like maybe giving them money makes them less likely to still snarf your data. For browser I'm still just dailying firefox.

Startpage is better that DuckDuckGo. It doesn't have an AI summary, and it's based in the Netherlands, outside of the control of the US government.
