If we’ve got to have a dictator can it at least be a cat?

  1. Precisely!!

This DOJ would see someone pay for a meal, give it to homeless person, then put that person in jail for ‘unlawful redistribution of food without consent of merchant.’

They jmake crap up to punish people for not being as corrupt as they are.

So who knows what the truth actually is?..

  2. Lemme guess, by “steal,” Trump’s justice department means, distributed it to constituents in need as per original Congressional rules but in defiance of man baby and DOGE/ Elon Musk.

So for me making certain that each individual only has a defined period of time to do damage to us is the key.

The point is to not have them have connections.

They can’t form clans and squads, and other petty BS crap.

To get something done they’ll have to act fast or pass the baton…

The thought is that if good things are at the correct crossroads they will get done because they are the right thing to do.

But people staying in office gives them the chance to grow corrupt and to push their own agendas that aren’t in the best interest of their constituents…

  5. I have heard the argument from legislators themselves. “We need time to make connections to get things done.”

On the one hand that’s fair, but our system was designed more around keeping bad things from happening than getting good things done.

Infinite time in office runs counter to that.

  6. While it’s comforting to believe that, the simple reality is that 1930s Germany looked at us and said…

…“you know, they did such a thorough job that most of them don’t even remember what the job was… we should try that.”

  7. If only the people who believe that kind of nonsense did…

… it might just ‘cure everything,’ at that.

Especially now that hospitals are working on shoestring budgets with the NIH and Medicare/ Medicaid cuts.

Gotta prioritize patients who actually want to be saved.

  8. Except that the corrupt SCOTUS actually did in fact state just that in a ruling regarding the concept of presidential immunity back when the whole Jan 6th thing was more fresh.

Only thing that’s going to fix this is the entire government gets term limits.

    Especially Congress and SCOTUS.
