And yet an article in the NYT yesterday said Trump was on a winning streak because he strong-armed the EU into accepting a tariff deal that will hurt both parties. Why does the media take him as a serious good faith actor?

Not to mention VCs can impact the success rate of their investments yet their investments still fail the vast majority of time. BLS is just a passive data consumer with, in theory, prior to Trump, no skin in the game. Bad job numbers are just as useful bec they shine light on policy needs.

Umm. Where have you been? The POTUS and his justice lawyers? Pressure on the Fed? Putting demagogue/delusional sycophants in charge of Defense, Education, HHS, OMB, etc

The NYT framing of Trump “displaying his volatile side” implies that he sometimes veers from normalcy. EVERYTHING he does is volatile. His “winning” an EU trade deal? The NYT ignores that only congress can legally ratify trade. It’s not normal nor a “win” - unless you frame it by Trump’s ego alone

Wait, there's a non-volatile side?
How are these people still writing things like this?

Maybe it’s a desperate cry for help and the GOP is trying to signal the trajectory of doom that trump is putting us on? Yeah, probably not. Just dickish trolling.
