  1. More kids are seeing porn now than before the Online Safety Act became law. It’s literally having the opposite effect.

The major cause? X. The vast majority of minors saw porn, far outstripping actual porn sites.

So of course, the UK government wants to double down with more censorship.

  2. Every day, more of us become vulnerable to prosecution or litigation under US censorship laws. While we fight, it's also essential that we protect ourselves.

  3. “Anyone who believed that government censorship of internet speech would stop with adult content was profoundly naïve. Had the mainstream tech industry taken the threat against us seriously rather than argue that our speech was less worthy of protection, we might not be in this situation.”

  4. “Showgirl” hasn’t evolved beyond it tbh, which is why I’m bringing it up. I don’t know any other mass-applied instance of it being used to describe a singer/songwriter performer like this.

I’m not faulting Taylor for anything, I just personally don’t think it’s correct!

  5. you tweeted what you tweeted after you found out but tbh it doesn’t really matter.

If you need me to explain the bit: Sex workers and trans folks have been at the forefront of women’s rights organizing since before women had rights. We fight for all, but the average woman will not fight for us.

  6. if you’re telling a sex worker and a trans woman they need to “do more for women’s rights”… boy do I have some news for you!

    Yeah, no.😆

That's just a comment y'all use very loosely.

My point is we should be fighting RIGHT NOW for the rights of all women, not just the trans community, and your silly TS take, tho welcomed to your opinion, is a distraction.

I will be of no use to my trans friends if I lose the vote.
