Really? I was an adult then and cannot recall giving one brief damn about any of these things, much less imposing my goals on people I did not know. Guess I was too busy nursing first my bedridden grandmother, then my mother, and working on my PhD to be interested. Perhaps you might reconsider?

Remember that a very large portion of the foundational research which has propelled this nonsense was stolen from PhDs who did the work, did the research and made it publicly available to everyone who could use it (www.gwpda.org/herhist.htm ). That was pretty much the point.

Royal Military College, Kingston, ON. There they stayed for the next 50 years. Every time a researcher or historian turned up, somebody enquired whether they could read German - nobody wanted to look at the records. Until sometime around 2010. And then, somebody did. It takes time, you know.
