The degree matters. “Leftist” and “slightly left of center” are not at all the same thing. The Democratic Party is still called “The Left”, even though it’s overwhelmingly dominated by conservatives who continue to refuse to support basic human rights and continue to support actual genocide.

I have a guitar, mandolin, and two ukuleles. I got my guitar almost 20 years ago at a store in Long Beach that doesn’t exist anymore. I looked it up on Google Maps a year or two ago and it’s gone. 😩

For reference, just in case, they don’t show up on x-rays and just look like a spherical “cyst” on an ultrasound. I remember seeing it on the ultrasound and the tech saying it was nothing to worry about. I didn’t know any better. No one did.

Yeah… last year was the first year since we had our first that we didn’t meet our out-of-pocket maximum on our health insurance. ER visits, even with insurance, are insanely expensive. But when your kid’s lips are turning blue, you go. Broken arm? Go.
