DC residents DO want more public safety; that means ridding the streets of strangers ("come heres") wandering about carrying war weapons and wearing combat gear -- they are a menace and are increasing the likelihood of a DC resident getting shot or injured. (See: vehicular mishap just today.)

Chicken Guard are likely scared to mill around in Ward 8 -- that neighborhood, you know.
-
And who wants to bring a child to a playground near a soldier wielding a war weapon? That's scary, not reassuring. Go away, National Guard! Go home to your families; don't terrorize DC families.
-
Ha-ha, there's no point looking for a black mother in Ward 8 who confirms she is glad the National Guard is "making her child safer," because no such black mother exists. The deployment of the National Guard to DC has made the streets of DC much more dangerous for children of black moms.

Slam the restaurant doors in the faces of the MAGA. If they slip in, heckle and boo them, and "thumbs down" them, repeatedly and relentlesly. Make their outing miserable. They deserve to be socially shunned and humiliated. White supremacist thugs. They don't belong in polite society.

They'd rather burn the country down than share it with "those people." White supremacist fools.

Plus, and fundamentally, vagrancy is not a crime under the DC Criminal Code. So there's that, too.

Ah, the "because I said so," and "because it feels like it" reason to override actual, scientifically-correct statistics on crime in Washington, DC. Great foundation to base public policy for spending hard-earned taxpayer funds, guys. (Plus, vagrancy is not a crime under the DC Code, JD!)

An "overemphasis on slavery" is wrong because that's not what this country was entirely built on? We only had free white men, no ladies or people of color, present from the earliest days of the foundation of the colonies and then the republic? We didn't have to fight a Civil War? I can't even.

They need to GTFOO DC!
