I am not sure the exact day it changed, but the USA no longer, objectively or subjectively, meets the standard of a modern western democracy. The sooner all Canadians accept this reality the sooner we will be ready to address our future clear eyed.
And if Canadians think for one second that the fascist right of billionaires won’t be unleashing torrents of disinformation in Canada - on the right AND the left, to unseat Carney & install a complicit #CPC, then they are tragically mistaken. And no, the NDP won’t rise to power in the next election

Neoliberal economics complicit with billionaires are foundational to both parties. The difference is a matter of degree. Record inequality is a fully bipartisan construct.
Carney's austerity agenda & tax cuts for the rich also couldn't be more perfectly designed to drive voters into the CPC's arms.
