I remember the old days, when the FBI investigated these crimes, "got their man", and the DOJ prosecuted, and obtained convictions. That was back when we had at least some semblance of a rule of law. Say, you kids didn't think all those Republicans were on board with this, did you? They have kids.

Embrace: A host body has sovereign jurisdiction over the life of any body which resides within it. There is a world of difference between life & the right thereto. Just as the right can be forfeit on the back end, so too it can fail to vest on the front end. The right comes with right of passage.
