I disagree. Autocrats love (rigged) elections, as they afford them a degree of legitimacy. There are actually very few countries without elections.

I second this; having played through all five episodes of Heretic and the Heretic Treasure Chest WAD, it does get boring after a while. Heretic's weapons and monsters don't really have the same "punch" as the ones in Doom.
