Settler colonialism has long relied on mythologizing the 'taming of the wilderness/the savage,' just as the Romans mythologized the 'taming of the Barbarian.'
The soil they claim, is soaked w/ our ancestors blood, & theirs if they try & exterminate us. We must unite against ethnonationalism!
Really important to call this exactly what it is - the mainstreaming of a really nasty strain of blood-and-soil nationalism with its closest analogues and likely source among the white supremacist movement.
