Hi, I was diagnosed at 28! It might have taken so long because my mom is probably also autistic and doesn't know it, and same for my grandma.
One of my best friends has a similar story, but with their dad.

My (late) very likely autistic grandmother was abused in her early childhood until she could act right-handed even though she was a leftie. Imagine if she had left her autistic traits unmasked as well.
She died in her 80s. I can imagine why she never got diagnosed and never knew it was applicable.

I believe more and more that they're anti mRNA vaccines specifically because it's easier for them to assume those vaccines are bad/dangerous/a coverup from big pharma than to learn how and why mRNA vaccines work.
Anything they don't understand doesn't need to be understood by anyone, it seems.
