i'd say it did. the public put a group of thieves, vandals and extremists in office last november and they promptly went about destroying everything that might work to limit their ability to loot, steal and inflicting pain on the people they hate

IDK, but if Dems could get to 218 in the House, it would be pretty great. The gavel, committee chairs, subpoena power, power of the purse etc. I think that’s an acceptable trade off to accept MTG (or any other gqp) in the party. They’re going to be back benchers who will never be in leadership.

I think this shines a light on how much of the right-left divide is, for many politicians, just performance.
It’s like pro wrestling kayfabe. You can’t believe The Rock would get along with John Cena until you realize they’re both making money by putting on a show.
