I assume they need to be at the airport a set time before the flight. They should surely be paid for that time and until they can leave the plane or airport. Isn’t that how most hourly jobs work? It should be.

The young adult offspring occasionally asks me to come along for unfamiliar situations. He concedes that he’s an adult but claims that I’m a “premium adult”. Took him this morning for some medical stuff and I (yes, it was in my hand!) forgot the paperwork. I asked twice if he had his health card. 🤦♀️
