The one upside of this is that we never have to pretend Republicans believe in the constitution, freedom, states rights, freedom of speech, America, democracy, the economy, jobs, children, decency or family values ever again.

Feel like I’m being told two completely different things. I was listening to a Dem candidate from Texas today who was saying he thinks there will be a red wave at the midterms. I’m hearing Dems are deeply unpopular. I’m also hearing Dems are winning in polling. I have no idea what’s real.

The next election should focus on holding the corrupt to account.
The story of America since the Civil War has been a total lack of accountability.
The Confederacy got let off entirely, no one went to jail for Vietnam, Iraq/torture, the Great Recession, Jan. 6, etc.
We are in this moment precisely because people in power continue to get away with criminality.
