I know it’s weird to say this while reposting a reporter reporting it, but “unhinged lunatics are advising the president by spreading insane baseless un-American conspiracy theories” is wildly underreported in the press right now.
Whatever Lindell's level of influence on this, when he talks, the president listens. According to other sources with direct knowledge of the matter, Trump tells people that whenever Lindell sees him, he brings up "the machines," & says Lindell is relentless on this in ways that nobody else is.

I think a lot about how my Instagram algorithm shows me a lot of videos of people doing crazy things in the city because I engage with a lot of NYC content, and how a whole lot of people think NYC is just one big World Star Hip Hop compilation because of it. It's not good.

IMO the city really needs to open up the curb more with loading zones, parking permits, and better enforcement.
When both curbs are walls of cars (on my block this often includes fire hydrants) and someone is loading stuff or passengers, there's no surprise to me that they expect to double park.
