The story/stakes around it with the Colts/Peyton finally trying to get over the hump, Brady/Pats feeling so insurmountable, the previous match-ups, the drama of the 21-3 lead and then the comeback. Plus the RCA Dome. It's basically just all you could ask for

Honestly that was one of my favorite "neutral watch" games ever (I was not neutral). Peyton winning that way and having his defense not gag it away late was perfect.
That was the real Super Bowl.

They’re def gonna do playoffs though, so yeah, the best outcome is probably that they go to a final round Bo3 and switch the tracks around more so we don’t get what we have right now where Penske has just figured out Phoenix and puts the whole season on that

I personally like the current points system, I like consistency being rewarded, though with how reliable the cars are nowadays there isn’t a premium really on protecting your stuff. And it rewards wins much better than the Latford system
But I’d rather just give winners more pts than do playoffs
