The man with the Seeking Human Kindness sign is Michael. I believe he died a few years ago (but Boston locals, correct me if I'm wrong). He was one of Boston's best-known unhoused people, and he always had that sign.
Living in gated communities used to be enough for Republicans. Now, they must be protected from everything they fear.

Initial review of the x-rays suggests avascular necrosis, so worse than arthritis. Still waiting to hear from my own doctor. I hope I'm not looking at a double hip replacement, but if that's what's necessary to be pain-free, so be it.
