Here we teach STEM majors that while their core classes are vital, their career success will largely be limited by their ability to write, speak, and broadly communicate. So our students take nearly as many courses outside the school as they do inside.

Can you say more about this? There are many of us who genuinely care about the lives of trans people and their rights. It would be helpful to understand how we might be casually threatening the same group of people we’re trying to protect.

I understand you love testing and think it’s the most fair thing going.
It’s just one part of the picture of what makes a student a student. And I write that as someone who has been teaching engineering students for over 25 years. Being able to test well does not mean you know how to think.
