    But this kind of rhetoric about a failed education system that's inadequate for the 21st century will continue to play right into the false Republican narrative that public schools are inadequate to the task. If @michaelbennet.bsky.soci wants to turn the page on edu policy, he needs to do better.

    This is a pretty good summation from @michaelbennet.bsky.soci on where the Democratic Party has been on education politics. All the while they were colluding with Republicans on edreform/NCLB etc, they had no idea they were setting the stage for the conservatives' goal of privatizing public schools.
