  1. @piop.bsky.social

But he's actually right. He perfectly understands how the modern economy works. As many other men of his social class, he spends/wastes money (I can't write "his money" because he mainly uses ours for a while ...), and the people pay his debts, endlessly. And people like it enough to vote for more

  2. I remember seeing him on my Gram's "scandal sheets" cheating on Ivana with Marla and there was some confrontation at a skiing place or something. He came across as a dirt bag way back then.

  3. Not from NYC but recall in the 80s and 90s he was the butt of many jokes.

I guess a lot of Muricans first exposure to him was The Apprenrice and let’s face it, being a reality TV game show host was his calling. But here we are…

  4. Below see a Mad Magazine reality check on Donald Trump and the hypocritical book that was ghost written for him. Also see a parody Trump book cover & a bookstore display using said covers, and the cover page and a portion of one of the five panel pages from a Robert Crumb fantasy about Trump.

  6. He is the most successful failure ever. He's ridiculously dangerous because he is powered by a simple-minded self-belief. There is not enough room for us and his belief in himself. End it.

  7. Nobody ever learns. Imagine if they took things seriously & had laws with real checks and balances, where would we be now?

  8. a little jewel from the past. There is nothing new under the sun when it comes to the convicted criminal, sexual offender, known as trump. his legacy is secure.

  9. Thank you. NYC metro folks have been frustrated that no one will really listen to what was common knowledge of PT Barnum's best student routine grifts his whole life. This is mild. Some cartoons targeted his long rumored mob alliances, as their pawn not their boss.

Don't believe me? Just ask Donald Trump.

With the golden ballroom, he's trying to turn the White House into a Taj Mahal.

  11. Oh crap, I remember that! I think I may still have it in an anthology book. 🤣 "What, me worry?"

  12. Pretty sure this will start an impeachment movement. Watch this space folks!

  13. The weird part is, here in 🇨🇦 , he has been regardeee as a buffoon & pariah since the EIGHTIES ffs

My grandfather used to refer to him as the bloated asshole

A con man through & through

    That was 40 YEARS ago!

Not sure why the media & culture of🇺🇸 grovels for the child rapist so profoundly🤮

  14. The whole world used to laugh at this guy. Now they're all either afraid of him or they worship him. What the hell happened between 1992 and 2025?!

  15. My husband was Employee #7 at Playboy Casino in Atlantic City. Trump bought it and renamed it Trump World's Fair. Then the staff couldn't cash their paychecks. Trump told investors to fund payroll while he sucked the place dry. At Taj Mahal, he stiffed vendors, making staff bring their own TP 😡

  16. MAD was the most genuinely patriotic magazine ever published. It taught critical thinking skills and discouraged any tolerance for political and commercial spin, the close cousin of Orwellian Newspeak.

  17. Remember when Barbara Walter’s called him out about the banks basically saying he was broke as he sat there talking about how rich he was?

  18. I remember back when Mad hit the stands in the later 50's and Mad Magazine helped me become the cynical smart ass I am today ... after I got clean of course. So much wonderful Mad history ... 😎

  19. Trump was never a successful businessman; he only stopped collecting bankruptcies after he pivoted to being a useful idiot for money launderers back in the early ‘90s.

  20. I don’t know if you realized it or not but, but this meme shows tRump-“Art of the deal”

Nothing has changed except he’s the most powerful dictator in the world now.

  22. He "says" he's broke. I don't believe that. Hiding assets. He doesn't have to use his own money when he's got the US coffers at his disposal. He may have his millions stashed in bank bags inside Ivana's final resting place.

  23. I've hated that motherfucker since the 70s. I was a teenager who knew better than these whackos today. Good grief.

  24. There needs to be a 3rd option. Like if Putin has ahold of his hair and is going to expose his bald head. Or his tiny peepee. Too much?

Even back then we knew him to be a fraud. Truthful Mad strikes again, even after being out of publication!!

  26. I remember when he was a broke idiot. That's why he's fleecing the shit out of the USA !!

  27. Anybody of a certain age knows trmp's history -- as a phony. It's the cretins who never paid attention to anything serious in the world who have been taken in.

  28. And yet he still managed to fool many Americans in 2016 and 2024 that he was a great businessman. The biggest problem in this country (after racism) is poor education. MAGAts are mostly undereducated illiterates.

  29. What Trump was all about was widely known in the 90s. He’s been a part of the top culture for decades. It wasn’t until Mark Burnett created The Apprentice that people started believing he was a billionaire businesssman instead of a bankrupt failure. None of this happens without that show.

  30. Trump has never been broke.

    He is a con-man

Tricking banks and lenders into giving him money which he then keeps telling them he has gone bankrupt.

  31. It's always been out there, who his is. He's always been a lowlife and very publicly awful. A buffoon on his best day. If you were in NY & NJ, you knew he was a clown, long before he got his TV show. Most of us watched it like it was satire or kitch.

    0
  32. Those of us in NYC and NJ knew way back when. If I had a time machine I'd go back and do something about it. His administration is consciously killing people.

  33. Wish I had my old copies of Spy Magazine from the '90s - they had at least one article an issue on the "short-fingered vulgarian's" drug use, shady doctors, shadier business dealings, etc. It's part of the reason New York City loathes him.

  34. ...and... the people elected Trump as president ....twice. So either the American people are stupid or the dems are awful. They dems are awful.

  35. It's so frustrating that we had his number back then and, one reality show later, enough people thought he was a business genius to propel him to the White House.

  36. I think the operative word is "never“. We should never believe Trump. That is except when he’s criticizing others: every accusation is a confession.

Love MAD magazine They actually told it like it was But loved the fold in page at the back

  38. The handwriting has been on the wall for years and years telling everyone that Trump is a fraud, a thief, and a very low morals human being. I'm just as angry at everyone of his supporters as I am of this POTUShit.

  39. A loser and a con. For decades. Refurbished by Russia and oligarchs into a wealthy man of the people.
