One of the panels at Socialism 2025 featured a long-time brilliant organizer and comrade Paula Rojas who said at one point: "Some of us in this room will be imprisoned or killed in the next few years." It was a room full of activists and organizers & it seemed to quiet the room.
Made my peace with it a while back now. If I must go, I will not go out alone, I can tell you that much.
But my goal is to go out old and in a better world. In that, I will never be alone.
