It's a truism from the days of direct mail marketing, you got a better response if you required people to do something: put the sticker on the return piece, scratch off the thing to reveal the number, any action that motivated engagement and involvement increased engagement and involvement.

If we had decent media they would explain this, "entitlements" is an accounting term for obligations that must be paid, it's not a dirty word, it doesn't mean people begging with their hands out for something they don't deserve - but republicans like to play word games.

I did video and stage production lighting many years ago, used to climb up to ridiculous heights, sometimes on ladders that should not have been in use. Totally comfortable hanging Xmas lights now, my wife doesn't like me being up there at all.
