I should add in here that there's a selection course. It's weird; like, you know you’ve already been selected, you just have to prove how much shit you're willing to eat to.get the job. For instance, during Nasty Nick (the SOCOM obstacle course), they don't time you, but . . .

There's a land-nav course, but you're not told the time for pass/fail. So you're slogging through swamps and snakes and hornets, and you have no clue as to whether you should just quit and spare yourself the misery.
